Environmental Engineers

Hi guys! Let's learn about one of my personal favorite careers!



Do you like to go outside often? Do you like biology and chemistry? Do you want to help stop climate change and other environmental problems? If you answered yes to any of these, environmental engineering might be for you! First, a brief introduction to some fast statistics:

Often, environmental engineers evaluate the importance of a certain environmental hazard. They also help in designing systems for industrial water treatment. Internships in college are extremely useful in gaining occupation in this job. It is important to have experience before professionally entering the field. Some important qualities include:

There are many positives to this job, but it is also important to note some downsides. Environmental engineers rate their overall happiness a 2.9 out of 5 stars. This places them in the bottom 23% in terms of satisfaction. Dealing with current environmental issues impacting the whole planet can be stressful, but if you have a passion for helping and love nature, consider learning more about this career!
